According to a Starrfmonline report, Kuntu, as he was popularly called, was found hanging by a rope at his kitchen on Thursday morning at his Brafoyaw residence in the Cape Coast Metropolis .
The former laboratory technician with the University of Cape Coast Hospital, according to the report, woke up at dawn and allegedly committed the act.
The family said they are shocked about the development as he neither complained of any problem nor showed signs of worry.
He is said to have been up in the morning, with the family thinking he was embarking on his usual morning jog only for him to be found dead wearing the track suit he wears for jogging exercise.
Personnel from the Criminal Investigation Department of the police service have since arrived at the scene to carry out further investigations and convey the body to the morgue for autopsy.
The late Kuntu, who was 6,3 was one of the leading figures of local drama in the 90s, as he featured prominently on TV with the Adehye Drama Group which was the only Fante-dominated group in the popular Akan Drama series.
