- Los Blancos are set to lure Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois away from Chelsea this summer
- The Champions League winners are planning to offer the Blues a sum of £221 million for both players
- They were superb for Belgium as they claimed bronze in the recently concluded Russia 2018 World Cup
Real Madrid are reportedly planning to sign Chelsea duo of Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois this summer.
Both players helped Belgium win bronze medal at the recently concluded FIFA World Cup in Russia.
With Hazard scoring one of the two goals that propeled the Red Devils to victory over England, while Courtois keeping a clean sheet in that encounter.
The Blues goalkeeper eventually won the golden gloves of the tournament after keeping three clean sheets in seven matches.
However, Los Blancos according to Daily Star are ready to splash a whopping £221 million (€250m) for the Blues duo.
The Galacticos after winning their third straight Champions League title last term lost their all time scorer Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus this summer in a £99 million deal.
And the most favoured player to replace him at the Santiago Bernabeu is Hazard, who equally wants to quit Stamford Bridge before the start of a new season.
Meanwhile, Spanish outlet Daily Star citing Don Balon reports that Real are also interested in signing Courtois as their goalkeeper.
Hazard was quoted to have said that he is open to joining Madrid after his country's last game in Russia on Saturday.
Speaking after Belgium’s third place playoff win over England at the World Cup the 27-year-old reiterated his desire to play for Real.
"You know my preferred destination," he explained.
"I can decide if I want to stay or go but Chelsea will make the final decision - if they want to let me go."
The former Atletico Madrid keeper also hinted that he might leave Stamford Bridge this summer after a successful World Cup.
He said: "I will go back and I will see what they want and how they say it.
"Obviously, with this World Cup, I think what was on the table is different than what I can have.
"In this World Cup, I have ignored all the speculation, all the rumours.
"But now, in the next few days, I will have a chat with my agent and see what Chelsea told him, and then we will talk. But I feel happy at Chelsea, it’s not that I necessarily want to leave."
Real Madrid have also been linked with Neymar and Kylian Mbappe to replace Ronaldo.
YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Belgium goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois admits that he might not be playing at Chelsea next season.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup bronze medal winner casted doubts over his future after their 2-0 victory over England at the Saint Petersburg Stadium on Saturday, July 14.
Goals from Eden Hazard and Thomas Meunier ensured the Red Devils wrap up their campaign with the 3rd place medal.
