France beat Croatia 4-2 on Sunday, July 15, to win the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
The six-goal thriller saw three goals apiece in each half. Croatia having dominated possession, looked out of the game by the 69th minute when Kylian Mbappe scored the fourth for France.
Key to France's victory in the tournament was Manchester United's Paul Pogba who scored the third goal for his country after an own goal by Mario Mandzukic and a penalty goal by Antoine Griezmann.
But not only did Pogba win hearts with his performance on the day but he did so with his celebrations after the final whistle.
Known to be a jovial character in the dressing room, Pogba was seen dancing and running around the pitch in a very happy mood.
And he went a step further by bringing his family into the celebration. His mother, Yeo, and his elder brothers, Florentin and Matthias who happen to be twins were seen on the pitch with Pogba posing for photos with the coveted trophy.
Interestingly, Pogba's twin brothers also play professional football and after playing for France at junior level they switched their allegiance to play for Guinea, the country of their parents.
Looking at the photos, there is no doubt that they are happy for France's win even though they play for Guinea now.
Since the photos hit social media, fans have been praising Paul Pogba for putting his family first.
@princebenny22 said "today is your day. Congrats you deserve it. And doing it with your family is just why I adore you"
@jacksonwendyann also sounded impressed with Pogba's family: "Nice Looking Family. Congrats! Pogba. "
For @____vicktori "Family is everything❤"
@i_amtima saw the striking resemblance:"They all look alike mehn"
@mz_nancyb was awed by the family bond: "Awww. They look so much alike, every mothers pride and joy is to see he children do well"
@msqtcut3 just could not understand the resemblance and she asked: "what kind of genes is that?? The brothers look identical"
Meanwhile, as Pogba and his family celebrated France's victory, there was one Ghanaian man who was not very happy because he had lost GHC10,000 over the match.
As earlier reported by YEN.com.gh, the yet-to-be-identified man is said to have put his money on Croatia avoiding defeat against France.
With 1.92 odds, he was going to rake in a return of GHC9,200 if Croatia had avoided defeat within 90 minutes.
