Some residents of Kumasi have expressed anger after watching a video documentary by the member of parliament for Assin Central constituency, Kennedy Agyapong, on famous undercover journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

Kennedy Agyapong over the weekend pulled huge crowd at the Kumasi Jubilee Park during the premiering of the ‘Who watches the Watchman' documentary.

The politician, who has vowed to expose the ace investigative journalist, Anas, premiered his much-talked-about documentary, to the general public in Kumasi.

Following complaints by some residents of Kumasi and its environs, the MP decided to premier the video documentary on Anas, 'Who Watches the Watchman’ in the Ashanti Regional capital.

According to an Adomonline.com report, the night was graced by some popular Kumawood actors and actresses, including Kofi Adu, aka Agya Koo.

The controversial New Patriotic Party (NPP), MP was joined by another outspoken member of his party, Kwame Baffour, aka Abronye DC, to support the documentary premiere.

The Assin Central lawmaker waged ‘war’ on Anas, after releasing his latest undercover video dubbed #Number 12, which indicted the GFA President, Kwesi Nyantakyi, with some other officials caught taking bribes.

Kennedy Agyapong, who has been a staunch critic of Anas, argues that his methodology of conducting his undercover investigation is to lure unsuspecting personalities and entrap them into corruption.

With this, the Ghanaian MP has taken all steps to expose the identity of the journalist by releasing some pictures to various online media portals purported to be Anas.

Though Anas has dragged Ken Agyapong to court, seeking GHC 25,000 for defamation, the MP seems not worried about the law suit.d a thief who enriches himself by exploiting people.

Kennedy Agyapong to make all matters worst has threatened to expose Anas and report him to Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al Thani of Qatar, whom he said Anas impersonated to extort cash from some top Ghanaian officials.

Apart from Sheikh Khalifa, the MP has also vowed to report Anas’ work to international media networks, Aljazeera and BBC.

Meanwhile, Kennedy Agyapong has already written to the General Legal Council to take actions against Anas for bringing the name of the legal profession into disrepute.
