World Cup stewardess caught stealing gold medal in trending video?

YEN.com.gh has sighted a video culled from the awards ceremony of the just-ended 2018 World Cup in Russia in which it appeared on of the stewardesses was pocketing a gold medal meant for the eventual winners of the tourney, France.

The video showed a lady standing behind Russia’s president, Vladimir Putin who job it as to hand out gold medals to him for him to place it around the necks of the French National Team.

However, it what appeared to be a swift move, the lady, who was captured speaking to the president, immediately stashed one of the medals into her pocket.

It was done so quickly that it would not have been noticed had it not been for cameras and technology.

When the video was however played a bit slower, it really did appear that the woman handing out the medals, did indeed stash something looking like the priceless metal into her coat’s pocket.

It is yet to be ascertained if what she put in her pocket was the real deal or just a faulty strap.

The award ceremony was carried out under heavy rains with all the officials being drenched with the heavy downpour.

The 2018 FIFA World Cup Final match was played between France and Croatia with the French National team winning the match after scoring 4 goals as against the 2 scored by Croatia.

Actually, the six goals scored in the final is the same as the total number of goals scored in the last four finals from 2002 to 2014.

Though Croatia dominated possession for most parts of the game, France had the victory bagged before the 70th minute as their number 10, Kylian Mbappe's low drive from outside the box put the score 4-1 in their favor.

The highlights of the final match day was the celebration of Manchester United’s Paul Pogba, who stormed the pitch with his family members.
