Premier League side Chelsea are switching attention to AC Milan’s shot-stopper Gigio Donnarumma as Liverpool looks likely to win race to seal a move for Brazil’s Roma goalkeeper Alisson.
According to UK Sun report, Chelsea’s new manager Maurzio Sarri is using personal contact to persuade Alisson to opt for a move to West London over a move to Anfield.
However, Liverpool are getting closer to sealing a world record £66 million deal with Roma for the Brazilian top choice.

And that has left the Italian alongside other eggheads in the club to commence an immediate search for capable goalkeeper elsewhere as they look to get a new first choice shot-stopper this summer.
Belgium’s goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is in the last year of his deal at Chelsea but is not open to extending his stay at the Stamford Bridge.
That situation has left the Stamford Bridge dwellers agreeing they will offload the Belgian to Los Blancos for £35m this summer or risk losing him without a fee in 12 months’ time.
However, the Blues are hunting for an ideal replacement for Courtois with 25-year-old Roma’s Alisson the preferred option at Stamford Bridge before allowing any sale.
On the other hand, Liverpool’s boss Jurgen Klopp is closing in on making Alisson the most expensive keeper in history, and the shot-stopper is looking certain to complete the switch to Anfield.
In addition, the lure of Champions League football is another advantage the Brazilian is likely to opt for the Reds’ as the Blues’ will be campaigning in the less-fancied Europa League in the new season.
At the moment, reports in the Italian media suggest Chelsea’s boss is considering AC Milan teenage shot-stopper Donnarumma.
The Serie A outfit are yet to resolve their financial issues, and Donnarumma looks unsettled since his arrival at the San Siro two seasons ago.
The Stamford Bridge dwellers have been linked with the 19-year-old severally but it remains to be seen if the deal will see the light of the day.
Furthermore, Chelsea are equally considering Leicester's Kasper Schmeichel, who excelled with top notch saves during the just concluded World Cup in Russia.
The Blues will cough out about £50m for the Danish goalkeeper while Donnarumma could be snapped up for £20m or less.
