YEN.com.gh has chanced upon another talented Ghanaian who has channeled all his energies into creating breathtaking art.
Nana Kwame Opoku, a young and talented artist caught the eye of YEN.com.gh and decided to share his story with us.
Nana was born at Angu in the Western Region of Ghana and completed his Junior High School Education at ANGU D/A JHS in 2006.
He then moved on to the Adiembra Senior High School where he pursued a course in Visual Arts.
Nana Opoku moved up the academic ladder and got admitted into the Takoradi Technical University where he studied Commercial Art Painting.
He carried out his national service at a village called Atokooso - Asankragua in the Western region of Ghana.
In an exclusive interview with YEN.com.gh, he revealed that he was very passionate about art because the beauty of arts could be equated to life.
He also revealed that he was intrigued by the way art had a way of stirring up emotions. Nana Kwame Opoku went on to say that he was inspired by sanitation issues in Ghana.
One of his projects that has won him admiration was the portrait of an eagle he put together using used up credit vouchers
Takoradi Technical University is probably one of the best Technical Universities in the country now having produced a number of talents.
Not quite long one product of the tertiary institution, Frank Darko, built a bicycle that can be ridden on water. He became a national sensation with many media outlets including BBC recognizing his efforts and reporting on his great achievement.
