- Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is keen to leave the Premier League for La Liga champions Barcelona
- The World Cup winner is banking on his links with Barcelona eggheads to seal the switch
- The trio of Frenkie de Jong (Ajax), Eden Hazard (Chelsea) and Adrien Rabiot (PSG) are ahead of Pogba in Barca's wish list
France star and Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is keen to dump the Premier League for La Liga champions Barcelona, reports suggest.
According to Tribal Football report citing sources at Spain’s Mundo Deportivo, Pogba is banking on his links with Barcelona eggheads after Ramon Planes joined the Catalan club from Getafe a month ago, to force a move away from Old Trafford.
The report further revealed that Planes is an assistant to sporting director Eric Abidal and is a close pal of Pogba's agent, Mino Raiola.
Interestingly, Raiola was at La Liga side last week for hold talks over potential deals for some of his clients which include Pogba.
In addition, the report noted that the Frenchman also speaks fluent Spanish and is ready to move to the Nou Camp once the opportunity presents itself.
However, although Barcelona have Pogba in their wish list, but in the order of priority, the Manchester United midfielder is behind the trio of Frenkie de Jong (Ajax), Eden Hazard (Chelsea) and Adrien Rabiot (PSG) by Abidal’s reckoning.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously had reported that Barcelona are set to offer Ousmane Dembele plus cash to Chelsea for want-away star Eden Hazard, The Sun quoting Sport.
Hazard used the moments after winning the World Cup third spot with Belgium to issue a come-and-get-me plea to Europe’s top clubs.
The 27-year-old's long-term suitors, Real Madrid, need new attacking talents after selling Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus.
