Zylofon reviewing contracts of its signed talents according to communications director

- Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo defends the review as part of every company's self-assessment.

- This will raise concerns as to which talents would be let go after the review

The communication director for Zylofon Group of Companies, Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo has confirmed reports that the company is reviewing contracts of its signed talents.

In a move that is sure to cause a few concerns, Asamoah-Baidoo refused to say that if some talents would be let go. He was however defensive of the fact that it was not out of the normal for companies to review contracts.

In a report first made by mynewsgh.com, Zylofon's communications director said the company is currently undergoing self assesment. This process therefore requires looking into its investments.

For him, a review of contracts of individuals signed onto the label is what every serious business entity does.

A good number of talents are signed onto the Zylofon entertainment bandwagon that includes film and music managements.

Some of the talents include, Becca, Zynelle Zuh, James Gardiner, Joyce Blessing and Toosweet Annan. Even Ghana's two biggest dancehall artistes Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy are signed by Zylofon Music.

Asamoah Baidoo said that the review process is advanced. He however refused to commit to whether the public would immediately know of their conclusions.

But he said the company will look to see through to the end of the contracts of those talents they need to.

In the wake of his confirmation, more questions have been raised as to what happens to the talents and whether any will be cut off soon.
