YEN.com.gh has gathered that the mother of the late Ebony Reigns has organized a second funeral ceremony for her.
According to a report sighted by YEN.com.gh on nkonkonsa.com, Madam Beatrice Oppong Marthin, felt that was a way to remember her late daughter.
The occasion was also to create an avenue for the friends and relatives of the late singer in London to mourn her.
The second funeral was reportedly held on July 21, 2018.
In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh, the mourners were captured wearing black and red attires.
Songs by Ebony were also performed while the mourners paid their last respect to the late Dancehall diva.
Ebony died in a gory road accident on Thursday, February 8, 2018, on the Brong Ahafo- Kumasi Highway.
She was reportedly returning from a visit to her mother’s house in the Brong Ahafo Region when she met her untimely death.
Ebony was in the company of two friends – Franky Nkansah Kuri, her personal assistant, and also Francis Atsu Vondee, her bodyguard.
They all died on the spot, and were buried at separate funeral ceremonies held in March.
Ebony Reigns was noted for hit songs including ‘Maame Hw3’, ‘Kupe’, ‘Hustle’, ‘Date Ur Fada’, ‘Sponsor’, ‘Poison’, and many others.
