A Ghanaian pastor, identified as Apostle Isaac Attoh, has been gruesomely murdered in Cameroon.
He is reported to have been gunned down by military men alleged to be loyalists of President Paul Biya and his body dumped on the walkway of a street.
The deceased used to be a missionary at the Destiny Impact Ministry at Barn Yard in Accra, but decided to travel to Cameroon to run his own ministry.
Family of the deceased said he arrived at Batibo, Cameroon on July 13, 2018, before his gruesome murder took place.
The family said National Telegraph’s secret stringers have confirmed that the corpse of the 28-year-old match one in a mortuary at Bali, a neighboring town to Bamenda.
“Information reaching us [family] from Cameroon indicates that, the military is trying to bury the body to conceal the evidence,” a family member said.
Apostle Attoh was in his pastoral cloth when his lifeless body was found, as captured in photos making rounds on social media.
Although, observers have condemned the death of the Pastor, the church in Cameroon is yet to come out with any official statement.
According to reports, the Cameroonian soldiers have refused to the released the body of the deceased, together with two other Ghanaians who were also killed.
The late Pastor Attoh left behind a wife and a 2-month-old baby boy.
His family has, however, appealed to government and the international community to help them retrieve his mortal remains in order to bury him in Ghana.
