Sarkodie’s wedding cake designers accused of concept theft

YEN.com.gh has gathered an interesting twist about the celebrity wedding of Tracy and Sarkodie.
This has got to do with their wedding cake which descended from the ceiling during the wedding which was held in Accra on July 21, 2018.
Many people have admired the hanging wedding concept especially Tracy Sarkcess herself who happily wrote on Instagram that it was “Africa’s first descending cake”.

However, a lady who claimed she is the one behind that cake idea has popped up, expressing disappointment in the company, Bigideazconsult, for stealing her concept and breaching customer confidentiality.
The lady by name Katherine Akua Akoto-Bamford has accused Bigideazconsult of betrayal and executing the hanging wedding cake idea which was her sole intellectual property she discussed with them.

In a Facebook post sighted by YEN.com.gh, Katherine narrated how she had first contacted Bigideazconsult with that cake concept far away in March.
Both parties seemingly agreed on making the cake for Kathrine and she requested for invoices so she could go ahead with payment.
However, along the line, her calls and Whatsapp messages were flatly ignored by Bigideazconsutlt for reasons she didn’t know.

All this while, the company had allegedly stolen the concept and was planning to execute for Sarkodie and his wife Tracy’s wedding perhaps without the couple knowing that that idea was a stolen one and belonged to someone else.
Katherine also indicated in her post that she had wanted to remain quiet on the development but she feels that is a “shitty rip off”, indicating that she was really pained at the behaviour of Bigideazconsult.
With screenshots of her engagment with Bigideazconsult as evidence of her claims, Katherine called the concept theft appalling, and also urged them to respect customer creativity.
“Big Ideas respect creativity from your clients and maintain disclosure and confidentiality. These pretenses don't auger well for business. What a shitty rip off!!!,” part of Katherine’s message reads.

It seems after the beautiful marriage ceremony of Tracy and Sakordie, various troubles have come in for the.
Some of his fans and followers are disappointed in him for having a strictly private wedding without even informing them if not to invite them.
Another musician, Criss Waddle, has also registered his displeasure with Sarkodie for not inviting him over to his wedding.
Tracy and Sarkodie reportedly dated for well over ten years before finally getting married on July 21, 2018, after their customary marriage on July 17, 2018.
