Pretty Ghanaian female 'shoeshine' wins admiration on social media

YEN.com.gh has sighted a video of a young lady on social media who works as a cobbler and has gained a lot of attention as a result of her passion for her trade.

The video which was sighted on Facebook, showed the young woman busily repairing the slippers of one of her clients.

According to the post, the female shoemaker, whose name is yet to be ascertained, works at a lorry station and has gained popularity among the people who use the station on a daily basis.

The post made on social media after the video was shared read, “She is at the Trotro station trying to get a car to a nearby village to do her work, but got this small job there, she also provide house to house services! Luv her work! Shoemaker girl.”

The young shoeshine girl is so good at her job that she is reported to get recommendations to visit people at home to help take care of their needs.

According to the story, she was into shoe-making to allow her gather some money to expand her business in another town.

Many young people have taken their destiny into their own hands and have started using their creativity to make money.

Many of such stories have been reported by YEN.com.gh and they have gone a long way to motivate others to get creative and put their talents to use.

Another even more inspiring story is that of Frank Darko, the Ghanaian university dropout who has built a bicycle that can be ridden on water.

His story made massive ways in Ghana and attracted the attention of the BBC who visited Ghana to have a documentary on the bicycle which has come to be known as the ‘Water Bike’.
