YEN.com.gh has sighted a video of award-winning rapper, Sarkodie, and his wife, Tracy, at their first public event since they got married.
The newlyweds stepped out for an event by SarkCess artiste, Akwaboah, at the Accra City Hotel.
The event dubbed 'Cocktail Night With Akwaboah' was held with live band performances.
Wearing different shades of black, the couple who could be said to be still in their honeymoon mood looked dazzling for the night.
In a video posted by the Instagram handle, @eventguidemagazine, Tracy was all smiles as her husband took the microphone to shower praises on Akwaboah.
Sarkodie did not only go there to talk as he also performed some of his songs.
Born Michael Owusu Addo, Sarkodie is arguably Ghana's biggest music act in the last decade.
Apart from his successful music career, Sarkodie is also the CEO of SarkCess Music which has artistes including Akwaboah and rapper, Strongman.
He has been in the news recently after he married his longtime sweetheart, Tracy, in a lavish ceremony in Accra.
The couple started with a traditional marriage ceremony on Tuesday, July 17, before a white wedding on Saturday, July 21, at the Omanye Conference Hall at the Labadi Beach Hotel.
Coming after 13 years of dating which has produced an adorable baby girl, their wedding has been dubbed by many as the perfect love story.
But it did not come without some controversy.
Sarkodie was initially bashed for marrying in a private ceremony without allowing fans to witness and also banning any pictures from being taken at the event.
While that seemed to have gone away with the release of the official photos of the wedding on social media, a lady came with an accusation that the much talked-about cake from heaven concept at Sarkodie's wedding was stolen from her.
But despite all those seeming setbacks, the couple look unperturbed and are enjoying their marriage.
