Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has reportedly sanctioned the sale of Argentine star Marcos Rojo this summer.
The 28-year-old was superb for his national tean at the 2018 World Cup tourney in Russia - scoring the winning goal against the Super Eagles in their third Group D encounter in June.
Rojo has however not done enough to earn the confidence of his manager confidence as the former Chelsea boss is backing the club to sell the player.
Mourinho is not done shopping in the summer transfer window having made an initial bid to sign Leicester City Harry Maguire who has been valued at £75 million.
But the Old Trafford outfit will have to offload Rojo to give way for a new central defender before the start of a new season in about 10 days time.
Meanwhile, the Mirror citing Daily Telegraph report that Rojo has been told he can leave Old Trafford before the end of the summer window with his prospective suitors billed to play £30m for his signature.
Everton boss Marco Silva are prepared to land the out of favour Man United star but will have to pay him around £120,000-a-week.
