Fake Daddy Lumba runs to Obinim to win court case against original DL

- Lumba Junior has consulted Obinim to help him win a court case brought against him Daddy Lumba

- In a video circulating on social media, Lumba Junior was seen and heard asking for prayers - from Obinim to win the case

- Lumba Junior has been sued by Daddy Lumba for impersonation

A Highlife musician, Anokye Supremo formerly known as Daddy Lumba Jnr, has run to the International Godsway Church (IGWC) of Bishop Daniel Obinim over his court case with his godfather Daddy Lumba.

In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh, Anokye Supremo was seen in the church of Bishop Obinim explaining that he saw Obinim in his dream and had to come to him for help.

The 'original' Daddy Lumba aka DL earlier in the year sued his look-alike Anokye, who behaves and sings like DL for impersonating his brand.

In the video, Anokye Supremo explained what was the cause of the lawsuit against him.

'My mentor, Daddy Lumba has taken me to the High Court. In the summons letter, he is claiming that he’s not getting programmes because I have been impersonating him.

'He is asking the court to stop me from using DL Junior and/or using his song for financial gains anymore and also make me account for all the proceeds I have made from performing his songs since 2010,' he said.

When asked by Obinim to tell him what he wanted to be done for him, Anokye pleaded for prayers to win the case.

'I don’t want to be in court with Lumba over this issue. I want this case to be over for me to win at the end,' he told Obinim.

Born Charles Kwadwo Fosu on September 29, 1964, at Nsuta Kwamang in the Ashanti Region, Daddy Lumba is arguably the most popular musician of his era thanks to a plethora of albums featuring many hit songs.

He has recently ventured into acting and was recently spotted on set with Akrobeto and Lil Win shooting a new movie.
