YEN.com.gh is in possession of a photo of a self-acclaimed man of God who stole a goat as he took part in an engagement ceremony.
Information available reveals that the man of God was caught stealing the goat at Akukwa village in Igbo-Ukwu, Anambra state in the Republic of Nigeria.
He was subsequently tied up with the stolen goat and was mercilessly beaten by a vigilante group formed in the village.
Thereafter, he was sent for questioning in order to establish the rationale behind his actions.
Speaking to his interrogators, he revealed that his name is Chinedu from Orifite in Anambra state. He added that he owns a church known as Key of Life Ministries in Ozubulu town, also in Nigeria.
According to him, he came to Igbo-Ukwu for an engagement, and thereafter took possession of the goat.
He confessed that he desired to use the goat for a sacrifice. Luch however eluded him and he was caught by those present.
He was later handed over to security operatives for further interrogations in order to help shed more light on the matter.
