YEN.com.gh has learned that the upcoming reshuffle by President Akufo-Addo could see the trade minister, Alan Kyeremanteng, moved from the ministry.
YEN.com.gh has gathered that Alan Kyeremanteng might be asked to proceed to the health ministry.
Closed sources in the presidency have also revealed that the ministry for business development will be merged with the ministry of trade for a new ministry called Trade and Business Development Ministry.
Following the sacking of the energy minister, there are high expectations that some other ministers of state might either be sacked or reshuffled to a different ministry.
A Starr FM report has also suggested that some individuals close to the President have urged him to douse the seeming pressure on his administration by changing, and in some cases, removing some key ministers from his cabinet.
The Akufo-Addo administration like any other government has had it's fair share of controversies. The recent being the Ameri energy deal, involving the Energy Minister, Boakye Agyarko.
It is clear from all indications that the president is embarking on a clean house as his administration gradually ends its first term in office.
