Zenith University College is one of the most competitive private institutions of higher learning in Ghana. It was established in December 2001. You may have asked yourself, where is Zenith University College located? The University is situated behind Ghana Trade Fair Center, La, Accra. It started as a tutorial college for foreign Universities and later opened tertiary education Center. One question though, is Zenith University College accredited? Yes, it is. The University was accredited in 2005 to offer diploma, degree and postgraduate programs.

Its mission is to provide quality and competent education with international standards and facilitate recognition and creation of favourable environments, which challenges and stimulates students to explore their intellectual potential fully. All this is geared towards ensuring that all alumni leaving the University have achieved competence and credible intellectual power.

School of law
Zenith University College (ZUC) aims at producing competent and knowledgeable lawyers who can defend their rights and that of others. Zenith School of Law releases intelligent young men and women with up to date knowledge and skills to defend the laws of the land. The University is known for the long-standing traditions of producing sharp scholars who venture in different spheres of law. Some become politicians while others become academics. Zenith University College categorically offers diploma and degree courses in Ghana Law and London Law. National accreditation board of Ghana accredits Ghana Law while the University of London in the United Kingdom accredits London Law. School of business

Zenith School of business offers degree and diploma programs in accounting, marketing, business management, human resource management, financial management, tourism management and hospitality management. Diploma course in business administration
For those students who may get the direct intake to pursue a Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA), they start from diploma level. Zenith University offers a comprehensive diploma in business administration, which fully prepares students to be competent in a competitive market. School of computing and information technology
Development of the business sector in the economy highly depends on its flexibility to adapt to new changes in the economy. Movement of information influences changes in the economy. Zenith University tends to prepare intelligent officers who will enhance faster movement of information and facilitate its usage. This will consequently cause a quicker growth of firms in the economy due to increased consumer knowledge. A very competitive course offered in this faculty is a degree in business information system, which empowers students to influence competitiveness in the economy.
Zenith University graduate program
Zenith University is known worldwide for producing competent researchers, leaders, and professionals who have significantly influenced the world. Master’s in business administration was introduced in reaction to a progressive demand by former alumni, leaders and human resources who wanted to extend and increase their knowledge and intellectual borders. Managers who wanted to move up in the management hierarchy have also facilitated this move. To take the challenge, School of Research and Graduate Studies was established majorly to offer postgraduate courses to prospective candidates. The aim of this was to produce versatile students who can interpret the problems of the business world and act appropriately. Postgraduate courses offered by Zenith University include the following:

The total amount of registration and tuition fees in the two academic years is GHC 10,200 for local students. However, international students are required to pay GHC 13,140 for the same service.
Professional programs
Zenith University College offers professional courses in advanced learning, with the aim of preparing students to meet professional and academic excellence. This program aims at ensuring a high level of competence among professionals in different areas of specialization. All candidates before being disbursed to different areas of their professions must pass a licensing examination to prove their credibility. This examination is usually set and regulated by regulatory bodies of Ghana and United Kingdom. Zenith University College is accredited to offer these professional courses by the following agencies:
- National accreditation board of Ghana
- ICA Ghana
- ACCA UK
- CTH UK
among others.
The University, therefore, offers the following professional courses;
- Association of business executive (ABE)
- Chartered institute of marketing(CIM)
- A confederation of tourism and hospitality(CTH)
- Chartered institute of logistics transport(CILT)
- Association of chartered certified accountants(ACCA).
Zenith University College certificate is only awarded on successful completion of any of these professional courses. The table below shows these courses with their related fees.
General requirements for Ghanaian students
- Candidates applying for consideration and are holding WASSCE/SSSCE certificates must have credit in at least six(6) subjects, three(3) core subjects which should include Mathematics and English and two elective subjects. The candidates should also have attained an aggregate score of twenty-four (24) and thirty-six (36) in SSSCE and WASSCE respectively.
- Students with 0 level certificate who want to join ZUC must have five credit with Mathematics and English language and have at least two(2) As in general paper and any other paper. The candidate must have sat for and passed Ghana business examination including Mathematics and English.
- Apart from the other general requirements, candidates holding WASSCE/SSSCE must have done well in elective Mathematics and Physics.
- Candidates wishing to pursue these programs and are holders of diploma with a final aggregate of (FGPA) 2.5 and above will be absorbed directly do pursue BBA.
Mature student admission will be required to have:
- 25 years and above
- Minimum working experience of three years
- At least three (3) GCE O level certificates holding passes
- Should have a pass in entrance paper which include mathematics, English and general paper prepared by Zenith university college.
International students
International students must show their eligibility by producing certificates or transcripts. They should fully be translated if they are written in any other language apart from English. Non-English students must pass an English test as a foreign language examination. Those who fail will be dropped.
Qualification for LLB admission
- Candidates applying for postgraduate must have a degree from a recognized institution of higher learning.
- Candidate applying through the standard route must have at least three GCE A-level passes with three GCE ordinary level passes including English language and Mathematics is necessary.
- The candidate should also have two GCE advanced level passes and five(5) ordinary passes including English language and Mathematics.
