- Some of Ghana’s widely acclaimed beauty pageants have come under heavy criticisms
- A former contestant of Ghana’ Most Beautiful, Akosua Ayiwa Sika, of 2015 season said she was sexually harassed
- She said a TV3 staff asked her for sex in exchange for an eventual win
YEN.com.gh has sighted a video in which a former contestant of TV3’s Ghana’s Most Beautiful is alleging that a staff of the TV station demanded to sleep with her to help her sail smoothly through the 2015 audition of the show.
Akosua Ayiwa Sika made this revelation in an interview with Kumasi-based Luv FM recently.
This is not the first time such an accusation has come up against TV3’s Ghana Most Beautiful.
According to Sika, she missed out on the Kumasi audition for the contest, therefore, she spoke with one of the judges who volunteered to help train her.
Following this, she was made to pick an Accra audition form, and was handed over to the TV3 staff to help her with preparation for the auditions.
However, Sika revealed that the staff demanded to sleep with her to help her become successful at the audition.
"I actually didn't pick at the Kumasi audition and I had to talk to one of the judges so that is when the problem started, the judge told me he is going to help me train so I pick for the Accra audition and indirectly they hook me up with someone and the person they link me too asked me to come to his house and that was not the right thing to be done so I didn't go so he freaked out on me", Sika revealed.

Sika was part of the final four who made it to the grand finally, with the ultimate prize going to Esi of the Central Region.
Though she didn't mention the name of this staff, it is believed that he is or was a senior staff at TV3.
In recent times, most Ghanaians beauty pageants have received massive backlashes for what contestants have described as rots on the part of the organizers.
Recently, Miss Margaret Dery, Miss Ghana for 2017, resigned from her post amidst many damning allegations against the pageant’s CEO, Inna Patty.
According to Margaret, she was made to go through so many situations which she would not have gone through on any day left to her alone.
Among her many accusations, Margaret accused Inna of embezzlement and unfair treatment.
Margaret also said she was forced to attend funerals of people she didn’t know all in the name of making money for the organizers.
However, as she is noted for, Inna Patty has rubbished all the claims and allegations, stressing that she is in for real business.
