- The 29-year-old becomes Manuel Pellegrini's ninth signing this summer
Spanish striker Lucas Perez has joined Premier League side West Ham from Arsenal in a deadline day deal.
The 29-year-old joined the Hammers after spending two years on loan with Deportivo La Caruna since 2017.
Perez managed to score eight goals in 35 matches for Deportivo who have been relegated into the Segunda division in Spain last season.
The attacker was fondly remembered with his volley away to Bournemouth in January 2017 and his famous hat-trick in the Gunners' Champions League win over Basel.
Perez becomes Manuel Pellegrini's ninth signing of the season as much will be expected from the London club in the new season.
Perez joins the likes of Andriy Yarmolenko, Jack Wilshere, Ryan Fredericks, Lukasz Fabianski, Issa Diop, Fabián Balbuena, and Felipe Anderson.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had earlier reported that West Ham United have confirmed the signing of Lazio attacking midfielder Felipe Anderson for a club-record fee of a £40m.
The Brazilian completed his medical on Friday and subsequently signed a four-year contract at London Stadium until 2022.
