- Thibaut Courtois has been replaced at Chelsea by Kepa Arizabalaga
After completing his dream move to Spanish giants Real Madrid, Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has made it clear that he will be glad if Eden Hazard follow him to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Thibaut Courtois made the move to Real Madrid before Thursday's transfer deadline and he has been unveiled by Los Blancos' chiefs ahead of their campaign next season in the La Liga.
And after he was unveiled at the Bernabeu, the Belgium international stated that he would love to see his countryman Eden Hazard to also make a move to Real Madrid from Chelsea.
''Hazard is happy that I have arrived because he knew it was my dream. He is a great player and if he could come here one day it would be fantastic,''.
Asked if he had a final message for the Chelsea fans, Courtois said: 'I know at the moment they are not too happy, but I hope they remember what was achieved. I needed a new challenge. Now I'm at a club that I have always wanted to be at. I don't think I've ever kissed a badge before,'' he explained according to Dailymail UK.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have bought goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga as a replacement for Thibaut Courtois who is expected to replace Keylor Navas at the Bernabeu.
Earlier, NAIJ.com had reported how Premier League side Chelsea sealed a world-record deal of £72million for Athletic Bilbao goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.
The 23-year-old Spaniard penned a seven-year deal with the Blues and will replace Belgium goalie Thibaut Courtois as the club's No 1.
