- Two men have been arrested by the Kasoa Divisional Police Command for trying to sell a machine gun
- The suspects, Kwabena Gyasi, a concrete pillar designer, and Kwame Attah, a driver, claimed that they found the gun buried somewhere
- Several ammunitions were also found in their possession
The Kasoa Divisional Police Command has arrested two men who attempted to sell a machine gun to an unknown buyer.
Information available to YEN.com.gh shows that the suspects, a 21-year-old concrete pillar designer, Kwabena Gyasi; and a 28-year-old driver, Kwame Attah, claimed they found the gun, a Kel-Tech Sub 2000 machine gun, buried somewhere.
The police however discovered that they were the owners, and were trying to sell it.
ASP Agyemang Agyem, the Kasoa Divisional Police Commander, revealed that aside the gun, the suspects also had 70 pieces of AK47 ammunition and one 9 MM ammunition.
He urged the public not to hesitate to report crime to the police.
