Shatta advises Ghanaian youth against following Yaa Pono

- Dancehall musician, Shatta Wale, has called on Ghanaian youth to avoid people like Yaa Pono, a musician

- According to him, Yaa Pono has nothing good to offer because he is disrespectful

Celebrated dancehall musician, Shatta Wale, has called on the youth of Ghana to refrain from looking up to people like musician Yaa Pono.

Speaking in an interview with Happy FM’s DJ Advisor, he stated that Yaa Pono has nothing to offer the youth.

According to a report by, he stated that there is a lot Yaa Pono needs to learn about business, as he doesn’t know what he is doing. ‘

He further stated that even though the musician is a good artiste, he is disrespectful, and so he will pay for a collaboration.

Shatta Wale added that Ghana’s youth need not look up to people like Yaa Pono because they have no vision in life.

“Most of these Ghana artiste should know that if they try to fight me, they will all fall. People should come so we learn .

Yaa Pono, your hits have taken so long, people keep asking when your next hit is coming , your songs don’t go anywhere, don’t feel shy, come and lets write a hit for you , you just have to pay something small,” Shatta Wale added.

Shatta Wale is currently on a media tour to create awareness for his upcoming album, “THE REIGN”.
