Asamoah Gyan kick-started his football career in 2003 when he was playing for Liberty Professional, a team playing in the Ghanaian Premier League. His performance lured a series ‘A’ club Udinese in Italy where he went next to play start off international football. He spent only 3 seasons at Udinese, one season playing for Udinese and was loaned out to Modena.
