The founder and leader of Founder and leader of the Glorious Word Power Ministry, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah, has revealed that Johnson Asiedu Nketiah of the NDC is his close friend.
One would have thought that the controversial general secretary will be the least of Owusu Bempah's choice for friendship but as it stands out, the man of God says they are good friends.
“When I heard Asiedu Nketia was contesting for the position again, I was very happy because I think his work is not done. I will pray for him to win. I admire him and he is a good friend,” he stated on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Monday.
Meanwhile, Owusu Bempah, who predicted the victory of Nana Addo during the campaign season, made claims of refusing some gifts from the NDC in the lead up to the 2016 election. He says his rejection of the 1 million dollars together with a Toyota Land Cruiser V8 was basically based on moral grounds.
"Even the NDC offered to give me a V8. They wanted spiritual guidance but I rejected the offer although I also prayed for them," Owusu Bempah revealed in an interview with Okay FM in Accra.
Owusu Bempah was the focal point of prophecies during and after the 2016 elections, due to his prophecies on how Nana Addo will win the 2016 elections.
Meanwhile, the Christian Council of Ghana says the prophecies of doom by the founder of the Glorious Word Power Ministry, are troubling.
Chairman of the council, Rt. Rev. Senyo Agidi bemoaned the manner in which Owusu Bempah has found love in creating fear and panic through his prophecies.
