Ghanaian comedian humiliated on stage for cracking joke about Nigerians

- Ghanaian comedian Foster Romanus has incurred the wrath of Nigerians with his joke

- He called Nigerians 'armed robbers' and it generated an uproar from the audience

- The comedian was performing at Glo's Laffta Fest which was held in Accra

Experienced Ghanaian comedian and actor, Foster Romanus, incurred the wrath of some people who were attending a comedy show at the Trade Fair Center after he called Nigerians 'armed robbers' in one of his jokes.

The comedian who had just arrived on stage, wowed patrons of the Glo Laffta Fest with his first jokes after exhibiting his singing prowess.

Before long, he was receiving a lot of boos and heckling from the crowd after he made a comment on how 'almost all Nigerians turned out to be armed robbers.'

There were shouts of "away" from the crowd who appeared to have been offended by the joke and felt it was a bit too harsh.

Foster Romanus had to cut short his act and leave the stage because the crowd were getting more and more incensed by his joke which had obviously gone bad.

The award-winning comedian has featured on several comedy platforms including the biggest and longest comedy platform in Ghana – Night of 1003, 1004, 1019, 1021, 1022 Laughs respectively.

The Glo Laffta Fest is part of the telecommunications company’s relaunch onto the Ghanaian market. It ushered in the Glo Mega Shows, a marathon mix of music and comedy which will run between August and October.

Laffta Fest brought together some of the finest comedic acts in Ghana, Nigeria and Uganda, who made the night memorable for the patrons some of who flew in from Nigeria.

Some of the comedians who wowed patrons of the show with their rib-cracking jokes included, Jacinta, Basket Mouth, Salvador, DKB and Seyi Law.

Actresses Juliet Ibrahim and Uche Jumbo hosted the night of laughter.
