- Ebony's father has accused his late daughter's manager of dishonesty
- Nana Opoku Kwarteng is resolved to preserve his daughter's memory by himself
Father of late dancehall and Afropop star Ebony Reigns, Nana Opoku Kwarteng has indicated he is setting up his own Ebony Foundation. This is despite the fact that the late artiste's manager Bullet has previously said he was putting things together for one.
According to Mr Kwarteng, Ebony's death was not supposed to go to waste as far as he was concerned. He intends to institute a lasting legacy in her memory and that is why he wants to set up the foundation.
The father of the late star is of the view that the artiste's manager is not to be trusted. Bullet whose real name is Ricky Nana Agyeman, is currently in charge of proceeds from Ebony's current income flows.
In recent times, the two have been caught up in very public disagreements in the aftermath of Ebony's death. Mr Kwarteng has on some occasions even said he felt Bullet was a very dishonest person.
Bullet has responded in equally angry tones. He has referred to the father of his late protege as a greedy man and has said that he would have nothing to do with Ebony's music again.
It is unknown what step Bullet would take now with regards to his prior decision to set up a foundation for Ebony. YEN.com.gh will update you on details from this story.
