- A 2020 campaign poster of Dr. Kwabena Duffuor has surfaced on the internet

YEN.com.gh is in possession of a photo which shows Former Finance Minister Kwabena Duffuor, declaring his intention to contest the 2020 elections.
In the photo, the astute politician and entrepreneur is seen wearing a coat, with the inscriptions Experience Competence Vision typed next to his head.
Again, the NDC logo, Dr. Kwabena Duffuor 2020 and NDC 2020 also appear in the photo.
Dr. Duffuor is however yet to confirm if he is either aware of the posters, or is interested in standing as a flagbearer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2020 elections.
According to 3news.com, he intends to serve the party a formal notice of interest in the coming week.
The NDC is scheduled to elect its flagbearer for the 2020 presidential elections as greenlight has been given for interested aspirants to the campaign.
Already, some party stalwarts including Joshua Alabi, Dr Ekwow Spio-Garbrah, Sylvester Mensah and, quite recently, Alban Sumana Bagbin, have given an indication of contesting the primaries.
Dr Duffuor is well known for managing the local currency for years as head of the Central Bank under the JJ Rawlings’s regime.
He was made Minister of Finance in the return of the NDC in 2009.
He served for four years and left office in 2013 when John Dramani Mahama led the next NDC government.
He, however, ventured into business entrepreneurship, setting up the now defunct uniBank Ghana Limited as part of House of Duffuor Asset Holdings.
