Against Manchester City, Ainsley Maitland-Niles deputized for left-back Sead Kolasinac who is also injured and will return in October this year.
Meanwhile, Nacho Monreal is back in full training and should be fit for Arsenal's trip to Chelsea on Saturday, August 18, according to the report by Mirror UK.

Englishman Raheem Sterling scored the first goal for the Citizens before Bernardo Silva netted the winning goal for Pep Guardiola's side in the 64th minute as Unai Emery began his reign at Arsenal with a defeat.
