- According to the father of the late musician, Bullet gave him a list of how the proceeds were distributed to artistes
- But artistes who were thought to have been paid are denying they took money to perform
There is a new twist in the wake of the brouhaha between the father and manger of late dancehall artiste Ebony Reigns. YEN.com.gh has gathered that some artistes who performed at the tribute concert for Ebony are denying they took payments.
On Wednesday, the father of the artiste, Nana Opoku Kwarteng submitted a list of names and amounts that were purportedly paid to those people; the names were of those artistes and MCs who were at a memorial concert for Ebony.
But artistes such as Edem and the duo Keche are denying ever taking money for the show.
Citinewsroom.com made available a screenshot of a conversation thought to be between Edem and Ebony's manager Bullet. The manager is seen to be denying that he is responsible for information that Edem was paid
Also made available was a post from hiplife duo Keche. They are seen to be denying ever taking money for performing.
Bullet whose real name is Ricky Nana Agyeman is thought to be out of the country on business. His response is sure to raise another angle to this already complex situation.
