My husband wants to have me more than food - Nigerian cries for divorce

- A woman in Oyo State in Nigeria is seeking a divorce over her husband's 'overactive' libido

- Baliki Oke claims that she cannot meet her husband's demands for constant intimacy

Information available to YEN.com.gh indicates that a case is before a Nigerian court in which a woman is asking for divorce due to her husband's high libido. According to the reports, the woman has given up all hopes of satisfying her husband.

According to Mynewsgh.com, the woman believes her husband's libido has actually become unbearable over the years. The woman alleges that her health has been deteriorating due this.

The woman has been identified as Baliki Oke. The issue at the Grade “C” Customary Court in Iseyin, Oyo State in Nigeria is to dissolve the marriage on health grounds.

According to reports, Oke said in court that she has had enough of her husband, Arowolo. They have been married for less than seven years and are blessed with a six-year-old boy.

Indeed, the issue at hand is not a strange one. According to experts, various reasons including a partner's inability to meet another's intimacy demands, may cause divorces of marriages.

Oke is quoted assaying: "Arowolo goes to the farm very early in the morning and would not wait for me to bring his lunch.

“He will come home in the afternoon just to have s*x twice before he goes back to the farm and would still make demands when he returns at night."

The divorce has since been granted by the court after it cited irreconcilable differences between the couple.
