YEN.com.gh has sighted photos of youth dressed like controversial investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, to celebrate this year’s twins festival termed in the Ga dialect as ‘Yeeyeye.’
The youth numbering close to 7 blown the minds of people with their choice of costume during the festival.
The ‘Yeeyeye” festival came off on Friday August 17, 2018 in Gamashie, a suburb in Accra.
The “Yeeyeye” festival comes off every year and it opens the door for the “Homowo” festival meaning ‘Hunger sleep’ - it will comes off on Saturday August 18, 2018.
It wasn’t the first time Anas’ dressing has been intimated in Ghana and outside the country.
Last two months, a photo of a 3 year-old girl dressed like Anas during her school’s career day went viral.
