Information available to YEN.com.gh shows that a 4x4 cross-country vehicle belonging to a former Member of Parliament (MP), Hon. Benita Sena Golomeke, will soon be auctioned.
This, according to a report by MyNewsGH.com, is to help defray a huge debt owed by Hon. Golomeke.
Hon. Golomoke, according to sources, was a National Democratic Congress (NDC) MP for the Ledzokuku constituency.
Though the details of the debt are unclear at the moment, it is reported that a former Miss Ghana is equally saddled with the responsibility of settling it.
The Ghanaian Times newspaper, allegedly published a report saying that the vehicle, with registration number GR 8081-14, is up for auction.
According to the auctioneer, Giant Mart, the vehicle is a 2014 model and that he was readying himself for the cash auction of the vehicle on the day of auction, reported to be Thursday, August 30, 2018.
The auctioneer again revealed that the venue for the exercise will be The Mart Asylum, and he has been ordered to accept only cash.
