Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, has lined up a crisis meeting with his players after a summer of turmoil at the club.
Reports reaching TUKO.co.ke contend Mourinho is furious with the club’s top brass after its failure to land several of his top summer targets during the transfer window.
The move saw Mourinho take a confrontational attitude, lashing out at his current squad, leaving a section of them disillusioned.
The Old Trafford dressing room is now said to be divided, something that has prompted Mourinho to convene a crisis meeting to quell the turmoil.
Focus intensified on the Red Devils after their 3-2 humiliating defeat to Brighton on Sunday, August 19.
Mourinho is now hoping to improve squad morale after the Wednesday, August 22 meeting ahead of Monday’s testing fixture against Tottenham Hotspur.
Paul Pogba's situation at the club and his relationship with the manager is expected to take centre stage during the meeting, with reports indicating the duo is not in talking terms.
The French midfielder is said to have been involved in a spat with the former Chelsea coach ahead of United's clash against Brighton.
However, on his part, Mourinho denied existence of any rift with the World Cup winner, insisting that he has no feud with Pogba.
