-Stephanie Benson has said her tattoos are supposed to hide her stretch marks
- The jazz singer turned 51 earlier in August
Stephanie Benson is a UK-based Ghanaian musician but unlike many abroad-based Ghanaian artistes, is quite popular in her native country. The jazz and soul singer turned 51 in August and unsurprisingly to many, she's shown no signs of slowing down or aging.
Benson, unknown to many Ghanaian music lovers, is the elder sister of highlife legend Akosua Agyapong. The two are individual stars in their own rights and have rarely collaborated on songs.
But the fascination with Benson does not only have to do with her music. The attractive woman is loved also simply because she looks like she is not aging.

The singer was in Ghana on her birthday and from the video it seems she had a very good time. Her tattoos are very visible for the video above but clearly, Benson is not in the least bothered about it.
Tattoos are still frowned upon by the majority of Ghanaians due to the wide religiously conservative thinking in the country. But according to Benson, her tattoos are supposed to cover her stretch marks in her midriff.
As she ages gracefully before the world's eyes it looks like Stephanie Benson will go on to make the same kind of music that has won her many hearts in Africa and in Europe.
