The family of late United Nations (UN) Secreatry-General Kofi Annan have indicated that the former diplomat will be buried in Ghana. According to the information available to YEN.com.gh, the UN will also hold ceremonies in New York and Geneva.
The family made this information available on Thursday according to Starrfmonline.com. The announcement also said the Government of Ghana will announce the state's plans for a ceremony in Accra.
It continued: “The dates for those events will be announced in due course.”

Mr. Annan passed on Saturday, August 18 in Switzerland after a short illness. He has been mourned by politicians, athletes, entertainers and a whole host of others.
