- Real Madrid stars dominated the awards ceremony held for last season's performance
- Keylor Navas, Sergio Ramos and Luka Modric all went home with respective awards
- Los Blancos won their three consecutive Champions League title and their 13th overall
Real Madrid trio of Keylor Navas, Sergio Ramos and Luka Modric have won the Champions League's best goalkeeper, defender and midfielders respectively.
Los Blancos captured their third consecutive Champions League trophy on the bounce with Zinedine Zidane recording a 3-1 victory over Liverpool in the finals.
Navas beat former Roma shot-stopper Alisson Becker and ex-Juventus veteran goakeeper Gianluigi Buffon after making stunning saves during the competition to be crowned best goalkeeper in last season competition.
Los Blancos captain Ramos went home with the best defender award ahead of his fellow Real teammates including Raphael Varane and Marcelo.
The midfield position was no doubt a competitive position as Modric got the better of his Madrid teammate Toni Kroos and Manchester City's Kevin De Bryune.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had earlier reported that Cristiano Ronaldo's over-head kick in Real Madrid's 3-0 win against Juventus in the Champions League has won the best goal last season.
The newly-signed Juventus striker produced an acrobatic effort that left his present Turin fans on their feet applauding the technique.
