Former Minister of Interior, Mark Owen Woyongo, has reportedly been involved in an accident.
According to a report by MyNewsGH.com, the incident occurred around Mampong in the Ashanti Region.
The Landcruiser vehicle in which he was travelling was consequently damaged, but none of the six occupants in the vehicle was injured.
The incident occurred at about 3pm on Sunday, September 2, 2018, as the vehicle was moving from Tamale in the Northern Region to Accra.
YEN.com.gh earlier reported that that the politician, who once served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Navrongo Central, was at Tamale, in the Northern Region.
He was one of guests present as ace radio presenter, Sammy Forson, married his fiancée, Pearl Yahaya.
The traditional marriage, was strictly by invitation and had a few family and friends present.
Mark Woyongo once served as the Minister for the Interior, and also Minister of Defense during the administration of Former President John Mahama.
He previously served as the Upper Est Regional Minister during the government of the late Professor John Atta Mills.
