The NDC selected its new regional executives from Saturday, September 1 to Sunday, September 2, 2018.

Among the many surprises were the defeats of Former Transport Minister, Aku Dzifa Attivor, who failed in her bid to lead the NDC in the Volta Region, the Bismark Tawiah Boateng, who failed to retain his seat as Eastern Regional Chairman and Joseph Yammin, who was also defeated in the Ashanti Regional delegates elections

Allotey Jacobs warned that the party risks losing the elections in 2020, if the right measures are not implemented.
