Ghanaian ‘Highest’ rapper, Sarkodie, and his long-time girlfriend, Tracy Sarkcess, tied the knot on July 17, 2018.
Their wedding was topical in the news with some controversies surrounding it.
One of the controversies was sparked by controversial Counsellor Lutterodt, who claimed that Sarkodie made a mistake by marrying Tracy.
He said Sarkodie was a superstar who could not be tied down by one woman, adding that the rapper could only be successful if he married one more in addition to Tracy.
In a response, Sarkodie said he never ever read beyond the headlines of that story as published by the media.
In a report sighted by YEN.com.gh on Myjoyonline.com, Sarkodie said the moment he saw that headline on social media, he knew there was no need to read click the link and read the story.
He said he ignored the story because he did not want to waste his energy on something that would not benefit him in anyway.
“I choose what to put my energy to… If it’s going to make think about changing a decision I’ve already made; which I’m not ready for,” Sarkodie said.
“…I think he’s an interesting man, I like him as a person, I met him back a few days ago, I know what he’s doing and that’s the brand that he has so I respect him for that…” the rapper added.
Sarkodie and Tracy reportedly dated for over a decade before finally getting married.
Their plush wedding ceremony was much-talked-about, especially their wedding cake which miraculously appeared from the ceiling.
The couple have a lovely daughter, Adalyn Owusu Addo, affectionately called Titi.
