Ghanaians slam Bawumia over his latest promises to unemployed youths

Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s attempt to give some Ghanaians hope with regard to employment certainly did not go as planned.

He indicated that the Nana Addo-led government intends to return Ghana to the path of growth and stability.

He explained that this will be achieved by unearthing the talents and skills of the youth to empower them to contribute substantially to national development.

This, however, did not achieve the expected feedback, as some social media users ‘attacked him for his promise.

A social media user was convinced Dr. Bawumia is convinced he is still campaigning for power

Another simply told him to shut up

Yet another user expressed concern about the promises

A fourth one believed that Dr. Bawumia's comments were simply funny

This user was simply tired of hearing that promise

The promise of jobs, especially for the youth was one of the key campaign messages of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the run up to the 2016 elections.
