- Reverend Obofour is the founder and leader of the Anointed Peace Church
- Similarities in their names got religious flolowers constantly confused
Ghanaians seem like a population that has alwasy been thrilled by its religious leaders. As things, they are none more popular or controversial than Rev Obofour of the Anointed Peace Church and Bishop Daniel Obinim of the God's Way International Church.
The two are individuals who have a different controversy almost every other week. And now, a video courtesy of Ghcelebrities.com and sighted by YEN.com.gh, seems to add to the stack.
Rev Obofour states that he began his congregation at a place called Mamponten in the Ashanti Region. Then he used to preach on the radio with the name "Obimpe" and at that time, Obinim who was also based in Kumasi used to preach on TV.
According to him, people used to call on one instead of the other. This obviously meant that religious followers were switching between the two.
Obofour narrates that this strange confusion went on for a long time without the knowledge of Obinim. However, it was later resolved before he moved to his current worship centre at Fawoade
Obofour was recently in the news for throwing a lavish birthday party for his wife. Not long after, Obofour made the headlines again after he reportedly bought a Ford Mustang for his little daughter on her birthday.
