Argentina FA have made it clear that they will not give any player the No 10 jersey in their hopes of convincing Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi to make a return to international duty.
Lionel Messi is yet to announce his international retirement, but the forward has told the FA that he wants to be excused from playing for the national team for the rest of this year.
He made this known after the 2018 FIFA World Cup where Argentina were sent out of the tournament by France in the round of 16.
Lionel Messi has worn the famous jersey number 10 for the last three World Cups in South Africa, Brazil and Russia.
Germany hosted the 2006 World Cup in which Lionel Messi worn jersey number 19 and he was also 19 during the championship.
According to the report by UK Sun, Argentina FA will not allow any other player to wear jersey number 10 except Lionel Messi.
