Daniel Opare – 4.0

He failed to live up to expectation, he was poor on the day. He couldn’t curtail the surging runs of Ochieng Ovella.

Nicholas Opoku – 6.0

Despite scoring an own goal he was superb at the back.

Afriyie Acquah – 6.0

The Empoli middelman failed to protect his back four in the game. He missed glorious opportunity in the second half. When it appeared rather easier to score, Acquah thought otherwise as he misplaced his header from close range with the gaping goalpost at his mercy.

Ebenezer Ofori – 4.0

With his dazzling skills, lots was expected from him. But he failed to drive his side's forward.

Christian Atsu – 7.0

He was superb and he was one of Ghana’s bright players. In some occasions his crosses went wide.

Edwin Gyasi – 5.0

He was anonymous for most aspects of the game.

Thomas Partey – 9.0

Ghana’s man of the match. He had a quiet first half but he dominated the game when he was tasked by Kwesi Appiah to play in the midfield.

Majeed Warris – 8.0

The diminutive forward gave the Kenyans back four lots of problems. He won some fouls for Ghana.

Kwadwo Asamoah – 4.0

He was introduced late and couldn’t have an impact on the game. It was his first game for the Black Stars after four years.

Harrison Afful – 4.0

He came in for Daniel Opare but just like Kwadwo Asamoah, it was too little too late.

Rapahel Dwamena – 5.0

Dwamena wasted decent chances to score. He will definitely wish for a better performance in front of goal next time.
