Ghanaian international, Michael Essien, has returned to his former side Chelsea.
YEN.com.gh has sighted a photo of the footballer in a Chelsea training kit.
In the photo posted by Essien on Instagram, he is flanked by his former captain John Terry and Chelsea's U-16 John Harley.
He captioned the photo, “Good session @johnterry.26 & @harley_jon.”
The 35 year-old Ghanaian middleman was at Cobham to train in order to stay fit.
Essien is currently a free agent after his contract was terminated by Indonesian side Persib Bandung.
The former Ghana international was turned down by Romanian side CFR Cluj for being too old.
Essien spent nine seasons at Chelsea after joining the English side in 2005 from French side Olympique Lyon, he played 168 games, scoring 17 goals in the process.
Essien has also featured for AC Milan, Real Madrid and Panathinaikos.

He has capped 59 times for Ghana and scoring nine goals.
