Multiple award-winning Ghanaian dancehall act and Zylofon Media signee, Shatta Wale, born Charles Nii Armah Mensah, has been accused of ‘stealing’ an album cover concept from American rapper, Rick Ross.
On September 14, the ‘Ayoo’ singer organized for there to be a listening to his soon-to-be-released ‘Reign’ album which has left his fans eager to hear songs he has packaged for them.
However, after the unveiling of the album cover which many people felt was top-notch, it has been found out that the cover was reportedly ‘copied’ from Rick Ross’ ‘Rather You Than Me’ album.

YEN.com.gh has sighted photos of both album covers and it appears that there are some similarities in the cover of both the Ghanaian and American artiste’s covers.
Many people have drawn the conclusion that Shatta Wale and his team indeed copied the cover of Rick Ross’ album since the American’s ‘Rather You Than Me’ album was released way back in March 2017.
However, the much anticipated ‘Reign’ album is due for release in October 2018 with fans and followers of the singer already in high spirits over it.
Some fans have bought themselves branded T-shirts of the ‘Reign’ album while another female fan, has tattooed the soon-to-be-released album title on her body.
Shatta Wale was in the news recently when it was reported that he had met with Stonebwoy’s management in order to thrash out certain issues between them.
Prior to this meet up, Stonebwoy, born Livingstone Etse Satekla, went ‘berserk’ during a live radio interview and called out Shatta Wale for accusing him of killing his mother.
Stonebwoy also made some damning revelations about his arch rival in the dancehall industry when he claimed, among other things that, had it not been for Bola Ray’s intervention, Shatta Wale would have been beaten in the UK.
Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy are both signed unto what has become Ghana’s fastest-growing entertainment hub, Zylofon Media.
However, the two, aside belonging to the same music genre, do not see eye to eye on a number of issues.
