I have never accused Stonebwoy of killing his mother - Shatta Wale speaks

Multiple award-winning act and Zylofon Media signee, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, known in the world of showbiz as Shatta Wale, has categorically stated that he had not even for once, accuse dancehall act, Stonebwoy of killing his mother.

According to a reported sighted by YEN.com.gh on Zionfelix.net, Shatta Wale, who was speaking in an interview with Obimepena Austine Woode on the ‘Abusua Entertainment Show’, said he never made such comments.

The ‘Dem Confuse’ singer added that he was not trained to say certain things he could not prove about people, so it was unlikely for such words to come from him.

“Austine, I agree with you that our values and norms as Ghanaians don’t encourage us to say such things and I can tell you that I wasn’t brought up to say such things about others. That is why I’m saying I did not say that…” he said.

According to the report, Shatta Wale branded Stonebwoy as a child who always ran home to complain after a fight.

He added that he was going to keep attacking Stonebwoy because the "Top Skanka" singer was weak guy who often acted like a baby.

Not too long ago, fellow dancehall act, Stonebwoy, born Livingstone Etse Satekla, went ‘berserk’ in an interview on Accra-based Hitz FM and accused Shatta Wale of saying that he (Stonebwoy) killed his mother.

Stonebwoy also made some damning revelations about his arch rival in the dancehall industry when he claimed, among other things, that if it had not been for Bola Ray’s intervention, Shatta Wale would have been beaten in the UK.

Stonebwoy, in the interview, went on to say that he later received a call from Shatta Wale to meet for them to make peace.

Following that development, Shatta Wale met with management of Stonebwoy led by Blakk Cedi to thrash out issues between the two top acts in Ghana’s dancehall music industry.

Not too long ago, YEN.com.gh reported that Shatta Wale was accused of ‘stealing’ the album cover concept of his soon-to-be-released ‘Reign’ album for Rick Ross’ ‘Rather You Than Me’ album cover.

Rick Ross released his album way back in March 2017 and Shatta Wale is yet to release his 17-track album.

Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy are both signed on to what has become Ghana’s fastest-growing entertainment hub, Zylofon Media.

However, the two, aside belonging to the same music genre, do not see eye to eye on a number of issues.
