The Former Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Bernard Allotey Jacobs, has described the party’s General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, as disrespectful and arrogant.
According to him, Nketia, also known as General Mosquito, is responsible for the downturn in the fortunes of the party.
In his opinion, General Mosquito’s insubordination keeps escalating and therefore needs to be addressed.
Speaking on Peace FM’a Kokrokoo programme, he added that there is a calculated attempt by some party officials to destroy the NDC.
Allotey Jacobs then alluded to an incident that occurred at function organized by the party's executive committee.
He revealed that General Mosquito forcibly seized a microphone from the National Chairman, Kofi Portuphy, when he was speaking to the executives.

This, he said, happened in the presence of other party executives and can therefore not be denied.
He then threatened to reveal more of Asiedu Nketia’s arrogant attitude if there is no pause to his manners.
"I know him. When it reaches the time for me to talk, I will and you know, Allotey will say it as it is. People don’t know what we have gone through. Don’t allow people to destroy what you have built,” he declared.
Allotey Jacobs again stated that he has a lot of things to say about Asiedu Nketia, and at the right time, he will spill the beans.
To him, the only way the party will regain its vibrancy is when General Mosquito leaves, adding that his continuous presence is destroying the party.
