Ghanaian agent bolts with client’s money after house showing

A man on social media has narrated how his friend was duped by thieves posing as agents and land owners.

Cautioning the public to stay alert over these scammers, a Facebook user by the name Kofi Osei narrated the ordeal of his friend.

He explained that two men posed as agents and sold a house at East Legon to his colleague. He said they only realised they had been scammed after they had already made payment.

In the Facebook post, Kofi added a photo of one of the scammers while pleading with the public to help get him arrested.

He also cautioned the pubic to be wary of the kind of agents they deal so that they don’t also end up being duped.

Kofi Osei wrote:

Please help some young people get this man arrested.
He together with another agent under the pretence of being house owners took them to a location, showed them around, we made our choice only for us to realize after payment it was all fraud. It’s a syndicate sort of thing. If you have agents around East Legon, please kindly show them this picture.
Kindly help, it hurts to have all your savings and hard work taken away from you.
Please Help another, it could have been you
